Twilight Saga Eclipse

As you all know I love the Twilight Saga and have been a member of TwilightMOMS where I have met some really awesome women who have become very good friends of mine and John.

So the movie was released on June 30th which I went to the midnight show of course. But even before that I won tickets to see it two days before it's release!! That was so cool. I loved the movie and am so glad that they get better with each one. Our event was nice to just get away and not worry about anything else for a moment.

So before the whole movie release my friend Steph and I went to New Moon in the park where there were games, activities, a star meet and greet, and then a viewing of New Moon. This was were we won our tickets for the special screening of Eclipse.

So the day of the event I met up with other friends and my sister for a nice dinner at Iggy's. We sure had a great time!!!

It's A Twilight Thing

My Twilight Movie Weekend

My weekend began on Thursday November 20th and started out with scrapbook club night. We made a cute Christmas page and some gift tags. Followed by meeting up with other friends at Red Robin for a late dinner about 10pm. Which was crazy. There was not one man in the place except for the bar tender. After we all braved the crowed theater for a midnight showing of Twilight. For my review on Twilight click HERE.

In side the movie theater lobby. WOW! That is a lot of people. The theater sold out midnight showings for all 20 of their movie screens.

Then on to Friday night, which was the TwilightMoms big event. We had rented out two theaters along with the banquet rooms upstairs. We had large per-party event before the movie. By having vender's come in and set up booths, games, and trivia, Pictures with stand ups of the cast and cars from local dealerships. My dad even let us use his 1954 Chevy truck that he restoring for Bella's truck. Our event had sold every out, which is about 1000 people. The only thing I can say was we had a great time and I will never forget this night. There were so many people and fans. check out the slide show below.

The following morning few us TwilightMoms met up for breakfast at IHOP. It was nice to see everyone and hang with Amie from Idaho that day. Overall I can not believe we pulled this event and weekend off. Now I need a week to rest.

Twilight HD Exclusive Trailer

It's A Party!!!

While over 200 TwilightMoms were up in Forks celebrating Stephenie Meyer Day in Forks, Washington. The rest of TwilightMoms thought we would have our own party here. September 13th is Bella's birthday in the books so we made our party a birthday bash. We started with dinner catered by Pizza Hut. Followed by fun mangling and giggling. Everyone brought a gift to exchange in a fun game. There was soo many cute Twilight themed gifts. After all the gifts were opened we all were able to share one of our many favorite parts from one of the four books. Followed by the special clip at the beginning of Penelope. I had to remind everyone to breath. It was so great!! I was able to meet some new moms and see old friends. Our party was held at fellow TwilightMom Amy Reed's home. Thanks for having us over.

Blue October Song for Breaking Dawn

Here is clip of a song that will not be out until March of 09 by the group Blue October. Stephenie Meyer had it played at her Breaking Dawn Concert Series. She said that it applies to page 355 in Breaking Dawn. So Since they are one my favorite groups I thought I would share.

Breaking Dawn Is Out!!!!

As you all know I love the Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer. The fourth book in the series came out August 2, 2008. I was in charge of the release party through TwilightMoms.com. We had so much fun and can not wait to do it again.!!!!
Everything began on Friday August 1st. Once we got everything set up and ready to go It was finally starting to some what cool off!!! So dinner was at 6pm followed by games. At 9pm some of the Twilightmoms had to leave for Barns & Noble where we were volunteering. To help with the games they were doing for the midnight release party. By 10pm everyone else had joined us. The store was soooo crazy!! I have never seen anything like it, but then I have never had a book suck me in like this has. While at B&N there was a costume contest and we had the best group. We had Alice, Rosalie, Heidi (in New Moon), Bella and Victoria. They even as far as to get contacts to fit the parts. Victoria won!!! Yay!! You all looked good. I am only sad that some how I missed getting a picture of Bella (Charity). After we got our books we all went back to the house where we had our dinner party and continued with an all night sleepover to read our books. Let's just say there were a lot of abandoned husbands and children. At the sleepover we had a wedding cake and a toast to go along with our wedding theme for book four.
I want to thank everyone that came and helped make this one of the best Twilightmom events. Also thanks to a fellow Twilightmom, you know who you are, that kept us curious every time she would scream and gasp at all the jaw dropping moments!!! It was so fun to see how everyone would react together. One of the Twilightmoms who lives far far away and could not join us in person, but was there on a stick. Her Name is Twilight2thecore (Renee), Boy did she keep the party going!!This will be one moment I will never forget. Here is the craziness at B&N!!! It sure was fun though!!!

And Yes!!! I have finished the book, although my kids now know how to make their own hot dogs in the microwave!! I loved loved the book!!! It took me by surprise since I never expected what happened to happen!!!It was the best way to wrap up Edward and Bella's story!!! I hope everyone else liked it. I at one time wanted this to be the last book, but the author left it open for more. I know that I want more.

Funny Story

So earlier today I was updating the blog while talking with my friend Amie. We were looking for Breaking Dawn backgrounds and I found the one I currently am using. Local Twilighmom Makes It On To MTV Movie Blog

Twilight Movie Update

For all those who want to know more about the Twilight movie coming out this December.There is a new movie trailer out from Summit Entertainment. That I posted at the bottom of the blog. You must check it out!! I was going to post it on the side with the first trailer, but it was too big to fit.

Heidi's Madness

As most of you know I have become addicted to the the Twilight book series by
Stephenie Meyer. Through my strange madness I found a group of women on line, Twilightmoms.com, where are able to talk about the books, up coming movie, and anything else that comes to mind. Well This past month Stephenie Meyer released her newest novel in titled
The Host ( which has nothing to do with the Twilight series) and with that her book tour.
So all of Twilightmoms in the Salt Lake area bought tickets and went to her book signing. Since this is something I have never done, I was feeling like a young teenage girl again. I had a great time and got to meet several of the Twilightmoms in person. Meeting these women was such a treat on top of meeting Stephenie Meyer.

At the signing Stephenie talked about her book The Host, personalized our copies, and autographed two of the Twilight novels. After spending most of the day there I met up with other Twilightmoms at the local park where we had a BBQ to celebrate and mingle.

At the BBQ I got to hang with Lisa the site creator of Twilightmoms.com. She is so awesome!!!

This is me and one my new best friends Amie. We met through Twilightmoms and have speaking on line, and phone for the past several months never meeting since she lives Idaho. Where her husband is going to school at BYU Idaho. She is a really sincere person and probably a bigger Twilight nut then me. She knows every quote from all the Q&A's that Stephenie Meyer has done. She has two sweet little girls and I am glad that we finally got to meet.
