My Twilight Review

So overall, I loved this movie. I thought they did a great job making a book to movie. Was everything perfect. no of course not. I broke down my thoughts into what I liked and what I would have changed about the movie.

I loved the opening of the movie with the books preface being said by Bella. I loved that they used a lot of the dialog from the books, it may not have always happened in the right place or moment, but at least they happened. I thought that actors brought to life all the characters from the book. I really like how Nikki Reed portrayed Rosalie. The chemistry between Rob and Kristen as Edward and Bella was awesome! They really made me feel they way I felt about Edward and Bella in the books. There are so many things I loved about this film that it is hard to put them all in order. Two of my favorite moments was the Baseball scene and the end when you see Victoria and her vindictive smile. I also loved the cheesy moments in this movie and there were a few. But they made me laugh.

The things that I wished that were different is a bigger budget to make the movie longer. They put a lot of our favorite moments in the movie, but they were so short making things move along really fast and at times choppy. I would have loved more special effects, even though the ones they had were great, but could have been better. All in all there is not much I would change.

I have since seen the movie twice and loved it event more the second time. The first time was the comparing part along with giggles of excitement. The second time I got to enjoy it for what it is and that it is a great companion to the book. They have made the official announcement that New Moon will begin filming early 2009 and will have a bigger budget. So I can only say that the movies for all four books will get better.
