I told the boys to watch TV in my bed while I got in the shower. When I got out I could not help but take this cute picture of the boys. It might be one time they actually listened without me asking a dozen times.

Who loves Cartoons?
Look Who Can Ride A Dirt Bike!!!
My sister, Heather, and her husband, Layne, are big into motor cross dirt bikes. Layne has told Jarren and Jacob that if they learned how to ride their bikes without training wheels, He would let ride the little 50 that he bought over the summer. So about two weeks ago I took Jarren and Jacob out to the race track by their place. The boys were sooo excited, because the dirt track site is right next to the Miller Race Way and they were have a large NASCAR race that day as well. We were close enough to see the cars coming around the track. Jarren and Jacob could pick out cars that reminded them of the Pixar Cars Movie. It was fun to see them get all excited about the cars and the bikes. You would have thought I left in a candy store to do what ever they wanted.
When we first got there my dad had gotten some KFC. Which was great since I had not fed the boys lunch yet. After we ate Layne took Jarren 1st on the little bike. Jarren road for a little bit then got off. He had a little trouble getting balance, and was not sure if he liked it. Jacob got on and found that balancing the bike was much harder then his bike at home. He also did not last long. I was sure the they would not get back on, until Layne offered to take them on his bike with him out on the track. Jarren went first and had so much fun. He was timid at first, but by the time Layne brought him in from the track he was telling Layne to go faster.
Then it came time for Jacob to get on, but first we had to deal with a large rain shower. We had to wait it out in side Heather and Layne's bike trailer it was kinda cool. After it was over Jacob took a turn riding with Layne on the track. You could not get Jacob to agree to come in. Every time they came around you hear Jacob saying "Layne go faster and faster".
Now by this time they were both wanting to try the small bike again by themselves. Jarren just took to it like a fish in water. He road the whole length of the parking lot. He wanted to go on the little training track, but Layne said not yet. Maybe after few more times on the bike. After Jarren, Jacob took his turn. He was so determined to ride it by himself just like Jarren and he did. Wow!! I can not believe my boys can ride a motor cross bike. We had a great time and it was nice to see Layne helping the boys. I think he enjoyed it. Thanks Heather and Layne for having out.

Has It Been Eight Years?

On September 16, 2000 John and I and were sealed for Time and Eternity in the Reno, NV Temple......
December 1995 I had gotten home way after I should have and my sister, Heather, was not yet home either. I was sent back out to find her, but instead I found John. It was a snowy night or should I say really early in the morning about 2:00 am in McDonald's parking lot. Where John and his buddies were visiting with a friend of mine. It was not until April of 1996 that John and I started dating, which was a good thing since John is seven years older then I. I had turned 18 December 28, 1995. Just a little trivia for ya. Over the next several months John got to really know my family and how crazy they can be. I thought for sure he would have ran for the hills before the end of summer. That summer was the year my family decided to move to Utah. I chose to stay behind to see where my future would take John and I.
So in the fall of 1996 John and I took a trip to see my family in Utah where I shared a few special places about our faith. Which then lead to his baptism on December 6, 1996. We continued to date for the next four years. It was when they announced that a Temple would be built in Reno that John started looking at our future more, but did not say anything to me at the time. So one day John took me looking at model homes. It was while standing in one these homes that I asked if he was going to live here by himself. He said "No, you will live here too." I replied "Do I get to have the piece a paper that says I can live here with you." Shortly after that John surprised me with my ring. Which is very special since it was John's mother's. It was left to him when she passed away long before I had met him. I feel very lucky and blessed to be wearing it and to be able to pass on the legacy.
The day of our wedding began about 7:00 am with hair and make-up. We had to be at the Temple by 9:00 am. I was pretty clam until I put my dress on. That is when it all hit me that this was really happening. I remember walking out of the brides room seeing John standing at the end of the hall. All I could think of was "I am going to spend the rest of eternity with my best friend and love of my life". We really do feel blessed. There were so many other emotions taking place at that same moment. The rest of the day seems like a blur. All this was followed by a few hours of pictures and then a ring ceremony for friends and family that were unable to join us in the temple follow right into our reception.
Well now eight years later, we have three wonderful boys Jarren, Jacob, and Joseph. I still wake up everyday and think how grateful I am to have John in my life. Even when things don't seem go as well as we would like. It is because of the love John and I have that we can make it through anything. John is such a great father and always makes time to play with his boys and to let them know how loved they are. I know that we may not always have everything together, but I do know together John and I can have it all!!!

It's A Party!!!
While over 200 TwilightMoms were up in Forks celebrating Stephenie Meyer Day in Forks, Washington. The rest of TwilightMoms thought we would have our own party here. September 13th is Bella's birthday in the books so we made our party a birthday bash. We started with dinner catered by Pizza Hut. Followed by fun mangling and giggling. Everyone brought a gift to exchange in a fun game. There was soo many cute Twilight themed gifts. After all the gifts were opened we all were able to share one of our many favorite parts from one of the four books. Followed by the special clip at the beginning of Penelope. I had to remind everyone to breath. It was so great!! I was able to meet some new moms and see old friends. Our party was held at fellow TwilightMom Amy Reed's home. Thanks for having us over.
Sorry if I can not remember everyone's name.
Look At All That Stuff!!!
So last Saturday September 6th John and I along with our neighbors decided it was time to get rid of our clutter in our homes and have a yard sale. We sure had a lot a of stuff and everyone seemed to make out pretty good. The day was very nice not too hot, unless you were standing in the direct sun light. We had a great time visiting with our neighbors as well. When it was all over with stuff still sitting out and not wanting to put back in our homes. We just loaded it up and donated it to the DI. Overall it was great day.
Just getting started!! Wow we sure have a lot to get rid of!
Even the kids are looking at all the stuff and getting overwhelmed
To go a long with the yard sale, John also had his most embarrassing moment.
While preparing things and going through boxes a few days before. I came across an old unopened tampon. We started laughing and joking what if we left it on one of the tables with a
25 cents marked on it. Our neighbors also agreed it would be funny. So when Saturday came we decided it would not be funny and John put it in his pocket to throw away later. Of course he forgot about it and I sent him to the store to get few things. Now John had also forgot that the shorts he had on that day did not have back pockets so he put is wallet in the same pocket that the tampon was in. I bet you can tell where this is going!!! It came time to pay for the items at the store. John reach in his pocket to get his wallet and out fell the tampon on the floor with the 25 cents sticker still stuck to it!! John was sooo mortified, because there was a nice looking family behind him looking at him all disgusted or thinking what weirdo. I never laughed so hard!!! Sorry John that you had to have that happen to you. But thanks for the great laugh.
Sending Another Off To School

On September 2, 2008 Jacob started per-school. His morning began at 7:30 am. He woke up on his own which is amazing since he usually does not wake up until 8:30 -9:00 am. He was so excited to get dressed and eat. He was ready to go by 8:00 am. I only wish he would be that quick when there is no school! I told him that school does not start until 9:30 am. His was heart broken that he had to wait longer. I told him I would get ready and by that time it would be time to go. So every few minutes he would come in and ask are you done yet! I would reply almost. Finally the it was time to leave.
I can not believe that he is old enough to go to preschool. It seems like yesterday that Jarren started preschool. It only means that Jacob is getting closer to the Kindergarten.
Below is a little video that John took of Jacob before school started.

Go Bees!!!
Not only does Salt Lake have a NBA Basketball team, The Utah Jazz, we have a pro soccer team, Salt Lake Real, and a Minor League Baseball Team, The Salt Lake Bees.
This past weekend my parents bought tickets for everyone to go see the last game before the play offs. Yes, Bees made the playoffs. The Bees played Tucson Sidewinders and after the first ending Bees were up two runs to one. In the seven ending the Bees moved a head leading six runs to one. The Sidewinders were able to get another run in at top of the ninth ending of the game. Making the final score 6 to 2. It was a great game and the boys were really excited about see a real baseball game.
When the game started the boys eyes were big as quarters. They thought it was the greatest thing to see a ball be hit all the way out to the back of the field. It was great since we were sitting in the 1st row along the 3rd base. So when the other team would practice pitching The boys got a really good look.
After the game they set off fireworks. I think it was Jacob's favorite part. I enjoyed watching a the game and see my dad watch his grandsons have a good time.
My parents enjoying the game. Thanks Mom and Dad for taking us to the game.
